Tuesday Poem - Birds and Bees

The birds and the bees
You know what I mean
A little bit of duvet diving
With that special someone
It’s such a curious phrase
Cos birds don’t do bees
As far as I know
And bees just make honey
So…
You be the bird and I’ll be the bee
We’ll zip around the living room in harmony
I’ll flap a bit and you mind the stinger
Before we know it
One of us will be nesting
The other one always jesting
‘Bout those tricksy little birds and bees
